Veronics

project.title

Veronics is an education and learning-community administration platform I founded and built to simplify the operational side of running classes and programs.

The platform includes class enrollment, scheduling, family account management, tuition and payment workflows, and teacher/admin tooling for day-to-day operations. My focus was building a system that feels approachable for small organizations while still scaling to more complex program structures.

From a technical perspective, Veronics uses a .NET backend and a React frontend, with data and infrastructure designed for reliability and flexibility as the product grows. This project highlights full-stack product ownership: architecture, UX, delivery, and iteration based on real user needs.

College Basketball Scoreboard

project.title

I developed this college basketball scoreboard to address my frustration with slow, cluttered sports apps. My goal was to create a fast, user-friendly interface that provides essential game day information at a glance. The app's automatic refresh functionality ensures up-to-date schedules and scores without manual updates.

Implemented as a Progressive Web App (PWA), it offers easy installation on mobile devices for a native app-like experience. To enhance user convenience, I included direct links to televised games and a toggle between light and dark modes.

The app also features specialized filters, including one for all televised games and another for Power 6 conference matchups—information that typically requires navigating multiple filters on other platforms.

This project not only solved a personal need but also demonstrates my ability to create practical, user-centric web applications that elevate the experience for fellow college basketball fans.

Better Hacker News Client

project.title

Lots of people have built web clients for Hacker News, but I hadn't seen one that included the OpenGraph image from the linked article in the post’s card. To fill that gap, I created a two-part solution: an Azure Function to fetch the OpenGraph image from each webpage, and an Angular-based client that displays the article data alongside the image.

The app also includes a light and dark mode for user preference. This project showcases my ability to improve on existing solutions by adding small but impactful features that enhance the user experience.

K&M House Plans

project.title

I built a custom website for a local architect using Webflow, which I chose so the client could easily manage their own portfolio updates. They had an existing website, but I modernized the design, moved it to a new host, and walked them through the DNS updates for a seamless transition. The result was a refreshed, easy-to-maintain site that better showcased their work.
